PawPinion vs Vetifier
Vetifier sells the same thing we do: a written second opinion on your pet's records from a veterinary specialist, charged per case. The difference a pet owner feels is the price.

What actually differs
Both of us put a specialist on your pet's records. We charge $179 for the written opinion and $299 if you also want to talk it through on a call. Their equivalents are $350 and $550, so we are about half the price on both, for the same category of reader and the same kind of document.
When Vetifier is the better call
If you have already started a case with them, or your pet's problem falls in a discipline we do not yet staff, finishing with Vetifier is the sensible thing to do.

Common questions
What is the difference between PawPinion and Vetifier?
Both give you a written second opinion from a veterinary specialist based on your pet's records. PawPinion starts at $179 for the written opinion, or $299 if you also want a live call with the specialist. Vetifier's published range is $350 to $550 per case.
Is PawPinion cheaper than Vetifier?
Yes. PawPinion is $179 for a written specialist opinion and $299 for the opinion plus a live video call. Vetifier's public pricing runs $350 to $550 per case.
Do I get a real board-certified specialist at this price?
Yes. Every PawPinion case is read by a veterinarian who finished vet school, then 3 to 4 more years of residency inside one specialty, then passed a national board exam. We match the specialty to your pet's problem: an oncologist for a mass, a cardiologist for a murmur, an internist for unexplained weight loss.
How long does a PawPinion second opinion take?
24 to 48 hours from the point your own vet authorizes the consultation. You are not charged until that authorization comes through.
Do I need my own vet's approval?
In most states, yes. Your vet authorizes the consultation and stays the attending veterinarian, which is what keeps a specialist opinion lawful without an in-person exam. We email them, chase them if they do not answer, and your card is not charged until they say yes.
Have a specialist read your pet's case
Upload the records you already have. We match the specialty to your pet's problem and your own vet stays in the loop.
