This Legal Disclaimer forms an integral part of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and applies to all use of the Platform. It must be read in conjunction with those documents.

Extrava LLC operates exclusively as a technology platform and online marketplace. We do not practice veterinary medicine. We do not employ, supervise, control, or credential any Specialist. We do not establish any veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR). We do not provide diagnoses, prognoses, treatments, prescriptions, surgical advice, emergency guidance, or any professional veterinary services of any kind. All veterinary opinions, clinical decisions, and professional responsibilities rest solely and exclusively with the independent, licensed veterinary Specialists who use our Platform.

PawPinion expressly disclaims any and all responsibility for Specialist credentials or compliance with local veterinary regulations. PawPinion performs reasonable baseline verification of Specialist licensing status using publicly available veterinary licensing databases but does not guarantee the accuracy, validity, or current status of any Specialist’s licenses or qualifications.

No Responsibility or Liability for Any Veterinary Outcomes

PawPinion expressly disclaims any and all responsibility, liability, or accountability for: (i) the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, relevance, or professional quality of any Specialist Opinion or advice; (ii) any diagnosis, recommendation, treatment decision, or course of action (or inaction) taken or not taken by you or anyone else; (iii) any pet injury, illness, condition deterioration, suffering, death, veterinary expenses, emotional distress, or any other direct, indirect, or consequential damages; (iv) any delay, technical malfunction, miscommunication, or other issue affecting case review or Opinion delivery; or (v) any other outcome whatsoever arising from or related to use of the Platform. These disclaimers apply even if PawPinion has been advised of the possibility of such harm.

You assume all risk for any actions taken (or not taken) based on any Opinion, and you acknowledge that incomplete or inaccurate Case Materials may materially affect the Opinion and any resulting outcomes.

Not a Substitute for Professional Veterinary Care

The Platform and any AI triage or symptom-guidance features are provided solely for general informational and educational purposes. They are never a substitute for a physical in-person veterinary examination, diagnostic testing, or emergency care. In any situation involving a pet health concern, no matter how minor it may appear, you must immediately consult your primary licensed veterinarian or proceed to the nearest emergency veterinary facility. Any delay caused by reliance on the Platform may result in serious harm or death to your pet.

The Platform is strictly prohibited for use in any emergency situation. The Platform and Specialist services are only available in jurisdictions where such services are legally permitted; use in prohibited jurisdictions is strictly forbidden.

No Guarantees of Any Kind

We make no guarantees regarding Specialist availability, response times, Opinion quality, matching accuracy, treatment success, or any other outcome. All services and content are provided strictly “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” with no warranties of any kind.

Indemnification Obligation

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Extrava LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and Specialists from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your uploaded materials, your reliance on any Opinion, or any violation of applicable law or these Terms.

This Legal Disclaimer, together with the waiver in the Terms of Service, is intended to be as broad and comprehensive as permitted by applicable law.
